Presentation Abstract:  

It simply isn't enough for teams to deliver more, better, faster.  In today's business environment those are table stakes.  The organizations who lead in the future will align team delivery to strategic direction and incorporate team learning into strategic planning.  Continuously.  Organically.  Seamlessly.  The next step in the Agile revolution is to apply Agile principles to the program and portfolio level.  First, we must move from an emphasis on planning to a rigor about steering.  Planning becomes a first-pass at alignment; steering on a cadence becomes the powerful tool to keeping Agile teams focused on *value*.  The larger, more complex the organization, the more important it is to bring Agile to the entire enterprise steering.
